The BR Blue-Grey coaches Pack 01 recreates certain specialised types of pre-nationalisation coaches which were pressed into service by British Railways to fulfil a requirement for sleeper and buffet cars. A shortfall of the required Mk1 coach types led to these early types being repainted in BR Blue-Grey colours and remaining in service for many years.
