Train Sim World® 6: BNSF GP60M & GP60B
Step up and serve Californian industry with the “Super Fleet” in Train Sim World, brought to life by High Iron Simulations! The handsome GP60M, and its faceless counterpart, the GP60B, arrive in potent pumpkin schemes for authentic mainline and local duty over iconic BNSF trackage.
Built in the early 1990s for Santa Fe, the GP60M was designed to run their “Super Fleet” intermodal trains. A total of 86, 3800 horsepower locos rolled off the production line - 63 members of the fleet bore wide-nose North American cabs, while the remaining motive power was delivered as cabless B units; the GP60B. Transferring with the merger to form BNSF in 1996, they joined the rest of their fleet in orange and many still run to this day.
In Train Sim World 6, the bold stature of the GP60M takes charge across the Cajon Pass route, recreating the experience of operating these lesser-seen powerhouses on mainline and local services across the rugged California terrain. A new Cajon timetable awaits, as does a quartet of scenarios for both Cajon and Metrolink’s San Bernardino Line.
The GP60M itself comes dressed in BNSF’s H2 and H4 schemes, with the latter featuring its “Dash 3” rebuilt control stand, meanwhile the GP60B lags behind in the older accents of BNSF H1 livery. New spine intermodal cars with varying loads are hauled in-tow, along with multi-liveried cement hoppers and BNSF-branded Autoracks.
Please Note: For the full experience, we recommend you own Train Sim World 6: Cajon Pass and San Bernardino Line which are available as separate purchases.
